GAS SENSORS

The GEMLOG Controls team has a high level of expertise and many years of collective experience in a variety of gas detection technologies.

We can support many different gases for environment monitoring.

For environmental monitoring, the gases that need to be monitored are determined by the concentrations that are hazardous. Workplace exposure limits (WELs) are set and TWAs are determined and published as long-term (8 hours) and short-term (15 minutes).

Oxygen depletion and enrichment use a combined sensor. Carbon dioxide monitoring uses a dedicated IR sensor as do our other gas sensors.

GEMLOG equipment provides two-stage alarms. A warning when the long-term exposure limit is exceeded and a full alarm at the short-term exposure limit (STELs).
