CONTROLLERS

The GEMLOG series of GasSensII fixed installation controllers offer single and multiple channel solutions.

Supporting a wide range of sensors that are individually isolated over numerous zones our controllers offer a modular and flexible solution. The touch screen menu-driven display will indicate the status immediately. For room monitoring, we recommend our controllers are mounted outside the room(s) and are ideally in an adjacent corridor or room and at typically head height. Our repeater panels can also be conveniently mounted to support the user with visual status indications.

Audio & Visual

Audible/Visual devices are supplied for rooms and corridors to indicate that an event is present. The warning tone is a cycle of 6 seconds whilst the full alarm is a continuous tone.

Battery Back-Up

The UPS is equipped with 2 x 12vDC batteries, each rated at either 7 or 12Ahr depending on the specification. They Represent a significant energy store and from new are sufficient to maintain power for over 8 hours including some alarm functions but the exact time is dependent on the controller configuration and the number and type of sensors to be supported.

Included within this unit is a complete battery management system, not only does it recharge the batteries it also automatically switches between battery and mains power without any interruption to the dc output.

​Switching Controller

The Switching control unit interfaces additional switch requirements typically for gas solenoid switching. These are available for multiple gases.

We currently produce a range of switching controllers from;

• 1 gas switching controller
• 2 gas switching controller
• 4 gas switching controller

​Emergency Push Button

Available for emergency shut off with key release.

​Repeater Panels

An overview panel provides the status of the system at a glance.

The repeater panel interfaces with the main controller. It will provide an overview of up to 16 channels.
